The addicon ASPECT script allows you to decide which PROCOMM PLUS 3.x for
Windows icons appear on your desktop.  Here's how to use the addicon
script.

RUNNING ADDICON.WAX

From within the PROCOMM PLUS Terminal window, you can launch ADDICON in
one of two ways.

   * By selecting ADDICON from the Script File drop-down list on the
     Action Bar.

     If ADDICON doesn't appear in the list, verify that the ADDICON.WAX
     file exists in the Script Path specified in Setup | Data | Data
     Options | Paths.

     If you're unable to locate the file, ADDICON may not have been
     installed.  Run PROCOMM PLUS's installation program as explained in
     the Install Guide, and use the Custom Installation feature to install
     the scripts.

   * Click on Scripts | Run, select ADDICON.WAX, and click OK.

USING ADDICON

Now you'll be presented with two choices -- Use Defaults or Custom.

   * Use Defaults
     If you choose the Use Defaults button, PROCOMM PLUS 3.x for Windows
     will automatically add the icons and program groups in three separate
     icon groups -- a main group with all the most used programs, a Script
     group containing the icons for scripts (like Chat, Host, and the
     Tutorial), and a Utilities group containing such helper applications
     like the GIF Viewer and the Dialog Editor.
 
   * Custom
     If you choose the Custom button, you will be able to select which
     icons you wish to have installed on the desktop and in what program
     group. After Custom has been selected, the following screen will
     appear.

There are three groups of icons:  PROCOMM PLUS Main Files, Utilities, and
ASPECT Scripts.

   * To deselect an entire group

     This can be accomplished in one of two ways:

     1.  De-select the checkbox in front of the group name.

     2.  Click on Select Icons next to the appropriate group and click on
         the None button.  This will automatically de-select the checkbox
         in front of the group name after clicking on OK.

   * To add certain icons within a group

     1.  Click on Select Icons next to the appropriate group.

     2.  Hold down the <Ctrl> key while clicking the mouse on the desired
         icons you wish to have installed.

     3.  Click OK.

     After selecting all the icons you wish to have installed, simply
     click Continue. The icons will then be created.
