TITLE   : ZMODEM Downloads Do Not Start

This document details how to set up PROCOMM PLUS for automatic ZMODEM
downloads.

AUTO DOWNLOADING
If you are connecting to a Bulletin Board System (BBS) or another PC running
PROCOMM PLUS' Host mode, you may want to use ZMODEM to transfer a file with
the other system.  If PROCOMM PLUS doesn't start a ZMODEM download once you
inform the other system to send a file, but instead a character stream such as
"‚ B0000000000" appears in the Terminal mode screen, you simply may not have
configured PROCOMM PLUS for automatic ZMODEM downloads.

TRY THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURE:
1. At the Terminal mode screen, press <Alt><S> to access the Setup Utility's
   main menu.

2. Press <P> to select "Protocol Options".

3. Press <Z> to select "ZMODEM Options".

4. If option C, Auto downloading, is not set to "ON", then press <C> to edit the
   field.  Press the spacebar to set the option to "ON" and press <Enter> to
   accept the new setting.

5. Press <Esc> twice to return to the Setup Utility's main menu.

6. Press <S> to save the setting change.

7. Press <Esc> to return to Terminal mode and retry your ZMODEM download.
