TITLE   : Patching your PROCOMM PLUS 2.01 Program Files
PRODUCT : PROCOMM PLUS 2.01 (DOS)

This document explains how to obtain the most recent patch files and apply
them to PROCOMM PLUS version 2.01.

1. Call the Quarterdeck BBS and download DP201.EXE.

2. Exit PROCOMM PLUS and change the current DOS directory to the directory
   which contains DP201.EXE.

3. Copy DP201.EXE to the home directory of PROCOMM PLUS (default: "\PCPLUS").
   Type "DP201" and press <Enter> to extract the file into separate .DTP patch
   files.

4. View a patch description by using the DOS "TYPE" command or your favorite
   file viewer.  For example, enter "TYPE CTRL_.DTP" and press <Enter> to see
   the information shown in the window to the right.

5. Type "DT_PATCH" followed by the name of the patch you want to apply and
   press <Enter>.  For example, type "DT_PATCH CTRL_.DTP" and press <Enter> to
   apply the CTRL.DTP patch.

#   Some host systems use the Ctrl-- (Ctrl-Minus) key as a system command.
#   It is also used by PROCOMM PLUS to toggle video modes.

#   After applying this patch, PROCOMM PLUS will send out the Ctrl-Minus
#   keystroke rather than changing video modes.
#
#   WARNING!  This patch disables the pulldown menu Toggle Lines selection.
#             After applying this patch, you must use an ASPECT script to
#             toggle video modes.
